Custom Pre-built Homes
All of the custom pre-built homes are constructed in a factory controlled environment (including most all interior finishes and fixtures) then delivered in sections (by truck) to the building site. Once the home sections arrive on site they are assembled and secured to a prepared foundation. Depending on custom finishes and add-ons, most customers are able to move in to their custom pre-built home within 4-9 weeks of delivery. Custom Pre-built Homes Conform to Uniform Building Codes (same as homes built in Master Planned Communities).
Custom pre-built homes are affordably priced. Pre-built homes range between 65 and 95+ dollars a sq/ft finished. This does not include the cost of foundation, the land and site work, as those will be site specific.
Green Builders
What is a Green Builder? A builder that uses Green or Sustainable Building techniques has been defined in many ways such as:
- Designing, constructing and operating buildings and landscapes to incorporate energy efficiency, water conservation, waste minimization, pollution prevention, resource-efficient materials, and indoor environmental quality in all phases of a building's life.
- Over the last few years, several organizations have developed green building certifications or rating systems for residential and commercial construction.
- Green building techniques can be used in Spec Homes, Production Homes and Pre-built Homes but, it is most often seen in Custom Homes.
